Why have we done this?
We noticed that although there are many organisations assisting Ukrainians to get here and settle down, we could find none helping them with taking the practical steps needed towards finding a job, such as putting together a CV. This is where we come in. Because writing quality CVs, and Cover Letters is something we specialise in and are good at, we feel its the best way to do our bit.

There are many of job opportunities out there for those who have recently arrived. The UK is experiencing labour shortages caused by the Covid pandemic and Brexit, with plenty of British employer’s keen to employ Ukrainians.
Problems experienced by Ukrainians looking for work in the UK
Many newly arrived refugees can experience a plethora of issues to overcome when looking for work. Typically, these can include:
- Language barriers
- Different way of applying for jobs
- Childcare concerns
- Safeguarding checks – Some roles require Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
- Recognition of foreign qualifications – Ukrainian people who hold professional qualifications gained in their own country may not have them recognised in the UK.

How to download
- Click the image of the CV you want.
- Click the ‘Sign Up’ link on the next page.
- Register for a free account (a quick and easy process).
- Go back to the page of the CV template you want and click the red ‘DOWNLOAD’ button.
Photos in the CV
Although some of the above templates have a place for the candidates picture, it is not necessary to include one. If you don’t want to insert your photo then it’s fine to leave the space blank.
Importance of having a good CV template
The presentation, layout and margins of your CV can be just as influential as what you write in it. A good design can do these key things;
